The beginning of our journey
When we founded the company “M.J.AKTIVA” d.o.o. on January 9, 1991. we had no idea how much it would affect our lives, habits and the lives of our employees, associates, friends and clients. Money was not our only motive – we started without capital, equipment, employees and business premises. We operated from our own apartment, devoting unconditionally to work and the most precious thing – free time. Our goal was to follow our passion while establishing new standards and quality for our profession, for the benefit of our clients, the economy in general and ourselves.
We had to face our limitations head on, constantly overcoming the challenges associated with a transition economy. This meant continuous learning, adapting to new technologies, operating systems, networks, international standards and IRS.
We were founded back in 1991, and we have gained enough experience in working with entrepreneurs, craftsmen and non-profit organizations. So we can confidently say that we have solid and high-quality knowledge in the areas of accounting, taxes, payroll and other related areas.
As we said at the very beginning, we are a team made up of younger employees who enable us to work with clients on maximally new and IT-demanding applications. We cooperate on a daily basis and promptly provide all the information and answers that are requested of us. We invest a lot in the education of employees through various seminars, courses, as well as internal training, because this is the only way we can get a satisfied client.
We sought qualified employees who could support us on this journey, developed policies, strategies and tactics to manage risks and fought to secure our position and survival.
Today we can say with certainty: “We have no regrets.”
By using the expertise and knowledge of our employees in market operations, marketing, foreign trade operations, business organization, finance, accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, planning and analysis, we believe we have found a winning combination. Through cooperation and complementing each other’s strengths, we have acquired capital and invested in top-quality computer equipment, using the most advanced hardware and software available in Croatia. We have a team of ten employees and in the coming period we plan to hire additional experts in banking, legal affairs, business correspondence and related areas in order to support our growth and satisfy our growing clientele.
